For the past month, my back has been super sore and I've had to spend about 50% of my day lying down. I suddenly couldn't jog anymore so I switched to easy workouts, mostly walking...BUT Baby recently changed position and my back doesn't hurt terribly anymore!! This means I can go back to being busy all day without so much down time, getting more work done, etc. and strangely enough I was able to jog comfortably again today. So my theory is that baby was in a posterior position against my spine, or some other awkward position; and hopefully this change was a flipping to head-down anterior as it should be. The kicks are higher also, to support my theory, but I will verify it next time I see my midwife (whenever that might be... next month... hmm??)
Anyway, I have also been sparked alive emotionally, and I am super duper excited to have this baby! I have 2 months to go but I am ready now! hee hee... I have no reservations or hesitancies about childbirth. For me, it's just awesome awesome stuff; UC is the most amazing, spiritual thing to make a human feel alive and awakened. I am excited for the changes ahead in taking care of a baby and devoting more of my waking (and sleeping) hours to motherhood. Thirdly, I think I have a pretty good idea of who this baby is, so I am thrilled and excited to find out!
Well so I have still been super busy. This is the busy holiday season of my business, plus about 2 hours a day of homeschooling, 2 hours of domestic work, and 1 hour of working out. I get up at 7 am and hit the sack usually at 8 pm. But my brother is living with us until the birth and helping a lot with the kids and housework. How lucky did I get?! It's a wonderful arrangement. I just love having another adult in the house, and some of my family local if nothing else!
